Early Childhood through Eighth Grade

Providing quality education since 1977

Welcome

Jackie's is dedicated to teaching children beginning with three years of age. We are not a "babysitting" service, but are primarily interested in motivating young people to learn by nurturing and developing their interest in the activities we offer.

Whether a child comes to Jackie's for an hour's class in karate, dance and swim, or is enrolled in the fulltime preschool, mother's morning out program, or in the private school, we want to give them the best opportunity to reach their fullest potential and to love learning for its own sake and the challenges it offers.

How a youngster feels about themselves when they leave Jackie's is much more important than a child's performance ability. Although we are certainly interested in seeing skills progression in all our activities, building a love for the activity, nurturing an ongoing interest, developing self-confidence and building a strong foundation for proper techniques is the most important goal we can possibly set for our student.

Congratulations to all of our PSIA Competitors! You all represented yourselves and our school very well! For those of you continuing on to State, that competition is Saturday, May 3rd, 2008. Additional information may be found on the PSIA website or attained from Mrs. Graner.
